I know I’ve posted about our time at the Nick Hotel before, but I wanted to touch on it once again. You see, this was a very special place for me and my family. This is also the place where Randy had “the best day of his life” when he got to meet the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and have dinner with them. I’m including some of the pictures from those trips….

As you can see, my family enjoyed some very special times at this place. It’s not there anymore, but we definitely made good use of it while it was. We made some of the most special memories on these trips. Vacation without the 5 of us just isn’t the same….
When I get too down on myself or feel guilty that I wasn’t the best dad, I should pull up these pictures and reminisce. Jen and I had to sacrifice a LOT to make these trips happen. We didn’t always have the money to go, but we usually found a way and had some amazing times. She and I did the best we could just to make these memories…in retrospect, I’m so glad we did. We tried our best for our kids to give them experiences Jen and I didn’t get to have growing up. So when I look back, maybe I wasn’t such a bad dad after all…
I love you Randy, Jordan, and James…never forget that. ❤️♾
