Randy was a very sweet and lovable young man. If you met him for the first time and you were a female, you were almost certainly leaving with a hug. And chances are you were getting hugs before and after any visit with Randy any time after that lol.
But something not many people know about Randy is that he had a devious side. Don’t get me wrong, it was still in his own unique and innocent way. But he definitely had a little fiendish side. So, while most of the time, he and I were adversaries, this fiendish attribute also allowed us to occasionally be co-conspirators lol.
In the pictures at the top of the post, you’ll see some of the humorously devious moments of Randy. That smile should give a glimpse of what he was thinking in that moment. My favorite picture of the three is the large one on the right. We were at the Nickelodeon Hotel at the pool, and Randy got out of the pool to dry off. Right about that same time, Jen was bending over to get some sunscreen out of her pool bag. I was taking pictures of my other kids playing around the pool and I just so happened to see Randy standing near Jen. I looked at Randy, and he looked at me. Very quietly, I made the “smack her butt” motion to him. And as he saw me doing that, Randy smiled that devilish little smirk of his and headed as quietly as he could towards Jen. I took that pic just as he saw me making the “smack” gesture lol. Sure enough, Randy glided over to Jen with all the dexterity and stealth of a ninja, and gave her a good swat right on her butt! 😂😂
While Jen wasn’t happy with that, Randy and I laughed about it like crazy. In fact, the more upset she would get when he would do that, the funnier it usually was to us lol.
Randy used to do that to me all the time too. If I were bending over to put on my shoes or to pick something up off the ground, I could almost always expect a smack. When he had that mischievous smile going, Randy was almost always about to torture someone (usually me lol).
