We had some of our most amazing memories as a family in Florida. Several trips were made to Disney World and various tourist traps around the area. But in addition to hitting Disney World, the Nickelodeon Hotel was our big thing.
I’m not sure when was the first time we went, but once we did, we were hooked lol. The Nick Hotel was a lot of fun, and some of Randy’s favorite characters were there for him to meet. Incidentally, that was the site of the “greatest day of my life”, he told us. Randy got to meet the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Donatello was his favorite) at the Nick Hotel, which was a great moment for him. I still remember his hair all combed and how handsome he looked, just to meet some turtles lol. But he couldn’t have been happier. One of my favorite memories of him….
One thing Randy definitely enjoyed was swimming in the pool at the Nick Hotel. It had a little fake beach that he could walk in, and then he would hook up with me when the water got too deep for him. Randy would grab on to my neck and I’d carry him to all the deep ends of that pool, where he could play pool games with me, James, and Jordan (mom was usually taking the pictures lol). But we had a great time in that pool. Even carrying him around that pool was fun for me. There was some great times at that place. Randy (and all of us) really loved going there together. Many more memories from Florida (and the Nick Hotel/Disney World) to come…
